Photography is about more than just pretty pictures. It’s about preserving the little moments, the big feelings, and the memories you’ll want to come back to years from now. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, cared for, and completely yourself throughout the entire experience.
More than showing up with a camera
A big part of my job is helping you feel prepared before we ever step in front of the camera. I want the experience to feel easy, relaxed, and like you have someone in your corner.
Need help choosing a location? I have favorite spots and recommendations ready to go. Trying to figure out what to wear? I’m happy to help with outfit ideas, and my client closet is available for select pieces. Planning a wedding? I have a list of trusted vendors I’ve loved working with over the years.
From the little details to the bigger decisions, I’m here to help make the process feel less overwhelming and a lot more fun.
Before we make memories
The thought of being in front of a camera can feel a little intimidating (trust me, you’re not the only one who feels that way 😂). My goal is to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible from the moment you book.
Once your date is reserved, you’ll receive everything you need to get started, and I’ll be here if you have questions along the way. Need help choosing a location? I have favorite spots I love and I’m always happy to talk through ideas. Not sure what to wear? I’m here to help with that too!
When it’s finally time for your session, you don’t have to worry about knowing what to do. I’ll guide you through prompts, give you direction when you need it, and help create those natural moments that feel like you.
My biggest goal? For you to walk away thinking, “That was actually fun.”
The moments in between
The perfectly posed photo is great (and yes, we’ll get those too 😉), but the moments in between are usually where my favorites live.
The belly laughs, the little glances, the kids being their wonderfully chaotic selves, the wind that decides to show up at the perfect time — those are the things that make your photos feel like you.
I’m not just looking for a pretty picture. I’m looking for the little pieces of your story that you’ll want to remember years from now.
Let them be little
Parents, I know the thought of photos with little ones can feel a little chaotic (and maybe a tiny bit terrifying 😂). But I promise, your child does not have to sit perfectly still or smile on command for us to create something beautiful.
The giggles, the wiggles, the silly faces, and the little moments you didn’t plan are often the ones you’ll treasure the most.
So let them play, explore, and be themselves. I’ll meet them where they are and capture this season exactly as it is.
